HARPS FOR KIDS
Sunday, September 12th > 12:00pm

Mark 'Bird' Stafford, a Toronto recognized and established Blues harmonica player returns once again to host the Southside Shuffle Harps for Kids.

Over the years, Mark Stafford has been gallantly working throughout Ontario with his Blues in Schools program. A program made available to schools through funding and grant money, enabling Mark to take kids on an educational journey into the history and making of Blues music. In this program, the kids also enjoy the opportunity to learn the finer points of playing the harmonica.

The Harps for Kids is a one-hour, fun filled, interactive harmonica workshop for kids between the ages of 9 and 12 years of age. Harps for Kids provide each of the participants with a harmonica of their very own and an opportunity to learn a little about the Blues and how to play the harmonica. A special thank you once again, to our Southside Shuffle partner, John Bozzo of La Villa Fine Foods for generously donating the harmonicas for the Harps for Kids.
